Brief Description

Primary responsibility is to technically support within the business. This includes, but is not limited to the development and maintenance of internal systems and the company intranet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical support to the full value chain in Sales Operations, including :-
    • Mediation Support: :-
      • Sales Order Extract File Creation.
      • Shipment Loader files processing.
      • POD/RICA file processing.
    • Sales Order Tracking.

  • Liaise with Outbound partners on issues affecting them.

  • Feedback to training on any issues affecting users.

  • Full Portal Application environment support.

  • General Unix, Application Support and Technical Support, including :-
    • Third Party Integration Implementation.
    • User administration.
    • Unix Backup administration.
    • SSL License administration.
    • FTP site administration.
    • WASP Config & Support.
    • Capacity Planning.

  • Continuous review and propose improvements to existing operations.

  • Understand the data model being used to help identify any new data problems.

  • Monitoring new releases of code to confirm impact.

  • Monitor trends that may point to issues.

  • Support release of reference data (shared activity).

  • Testing of new reference data releases.

  • Report on status of all operations :-
    • Suggest any process improvement.
    • Track issues until resolved.
    • Liaise with our partners and Cell C on issues.
    • Periodic reconciliation of data between Cell C, Partners and ourselves.
    • Fabricating data files from existing data to resolve issues/re-process.
    • Tools and technologies used, include Unix O/S, shell scripting, SQL.
